James Joseph has been working on the greening of America for a long, long time. In particular, his wish was to help Black farmers develop various means of making a living, one of which was to reduce the miles from the fields to the dining room.
He's done it and won an award for it.

Developing social justice teams, writing and researching, advocating, and blogging have been parts of my life since 1993. My "day job" these days involves development of policy and programs for strong families for the Chickasaw Nation. My avocation is working on behalf of Black farmers.
